The Summer of 2015, I met a very real man and His name was Jesus. In His embrace, I felt complete. The brokenness I was living was left in Colorado and a new life began when I said Yes to the Cross and chose to pick it up.
This doesn’t mean that I continued to diligently say yes to Him. I am human, and I know that I am not nearly enough for the immeasurable God that I am allowed to worship. When I started college I began to run from the unfailing love He was offering because it was all just too “hard” and too “scary”. After many defeats, doubts, and fears about the person He is in me, I made the greatest decision of my life and allowed the chase to fully end this past February.
He put a crown on my head and called me “holy and blameless."
I believe in the resurrection.
Luke 7:47 states “Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.” Jesus knew when He left the grave I would be leaving the grave today. This is a proclamation of all the goodness that he is and all the grace he has given. Life with Jesus is free. No more doubt or fear or failure but a time to live in grace.
